Maths

The children really enjoy choosing independent maths activities.

These boys are using three dice to add and subtract. If the answer is a number on a puzzle piece, they can try to put the puzzle together.

These children are using geometric shapes to find patterns and connect together.

These girls are testing their number memories.

Wakatipu Jazz band

What an amazing opportunity to hear all these different instruments busting out some great beats! Thank you Wakaktipu High School! We loved listening to your band! You might be able to spot some of our habitat busting out a few moves of their own!

Robotics

During last term 8 intrepid Coronet explorers were the first students at Shotover Primary School to discover and learn about programming our new WeDo 2.0 Robots.  During Term 3 we used our learning to connect (ask questions, find information and sort our ideas) and to create (programme and test out our programming).  Yesterday we finished our movies so that we could communicate our learning with you.
